Best cheap eats in London

With the current exchange rate not being the best (AUD to GBP = 0.55*), it’s becoming important to find good places offering great meals at a reasonable price.
Here are a few places to visit when in London.

Dishoom

Dishoom plays on the Irani cafes that were found in Bombay. Zoroastrian immigrants came to London and setup these cafes to allow everyone to experience this unique cuisine.

 Pau Bhaji

Dishoom Calarmari

Chicken Ruby

Masala Prawns

There are several locations throughout London such as Carnaby (SOHO) and King’s Cross. I highly recommend visiting the King’s Cross location because once you step into the restaurant, you are taken back to a time and place of Irani Bombay cafes. Also should be noted that waiting in line for dinner during peak times can come with a one and a half waiting time.

The best for cheap steak! They only offer one type of steak on the menu with various sides.
The steak is a cut taken from the shoulder and cooked to your liking. The chips are highly recommended as they are cooked in beef dripping!
